THE SOLUTIONS LEAD - MED TECH

We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Lead - Med Tech to join Sorcero. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader, bridging the gap between our MedTech clients' business challenges and our AI-driven insights platform. This role requires a strategic thinker who can transform complex healthcare claims data into actionable insights that drive market access, product adoption, and commercial decision-making. In doing so, you will be a trusted advisor to our customers, ensuring that they realize maximum value from our solutions.

You will act as a key translator for our technical teams, taking a client's problem, mocking up a potential data solution, and defining the precise dataset and technical requirements needed for our delivery teams to build it.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data Analysis & Insights Generation: Partner with Sales Directors to conduct in-depth customer discovery. Design solutions that leverage large-scale healthcare claims and RX datasets to identify utilization patterns, treatment pathways, and outcome trends. Mockup comprehensive reports and dashboards that translate complex data findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Solution Design & Strategy: Mock up and define the specific data and technical requirements for new customer solutions. Act as a strategic liaison, translating complex customer needs into actionable technological implementations for our engineering, product, and delivery teams.
  • Data & System Integration: Serve as a subject matter expert for the Sorcero platform's integration with customer systems. Develop strategies for integrating with customer ERP data and linking Sorcero data to customer IDs and NPIs.
  • Data Extrapolation & Validation: Develop new and innovative techniques to predict total market volumes for physicians and facilities. Create and document best practices for data validation, including thresholds and automated checks.
  • Clinical & Market Intelligence: Support the development of Sorcero’s clinical language and ontologies as they relate to specific MedTech therapeutic areas. Conduct in-depth market analysis using claims data to assess the competitive landscape and support product positioning strategies by analyzing physician adoption patterns and patient demographics.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to manage the delivery of data-driven solutions and ensure precise adherence to customer requirements and scope. Co-lead training and change management initiatives with the client.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 10 years of experience working with large-scale healthcare claims data (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers) in the life sciences industry.
  • Extensive experience in the Medical Technology industry with a deep understanding of the device development lifecycle, regulatory pathways, and reimbursement landscape.
  • Advanced proficiency in statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, R, Python) and SQL.
  • Experience with large-scale data warehouses and platforms (e.g., GCP, Databricks, Snowflake).
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, DRG).
  • Proven track record of leading complex analytical projects and presenting findings to executive leadership.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and project leadership capabilities.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Direct experience working with Medical Affairs teams within a MedTech or pharmaceutical company.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory landscape for medical devices and diagnostics.
  • Experience with AI and digital transformation in healthcare.
  • Project management certification.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Sorcero is a remote and globally distributed team. We offer rewarding compensation that will include a base salary in the range of $160,000-$180,000 depending on experience and location.
