Our proven holistic approach can reduce energy use by 50% and takes a home completely off of fossil fuels with upgrades like high-performance insulation, air sealing, and heat pump HVAC. What will you do?
You will drive revenue by demonstrating the value of Sealed’s groundbreaking suite of financial products and in-home services. The Account Executive (AE) role is our sales closing position. Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are the lead gen engine powering our sales team. Account Executives (AEs) drive those inbound leads through the sales funnel from SQL, through our mid-funnel stage and opportunity closing.
A successful AE demonstrates the ability to manage a high volume of accounts at different stages of the funnel and interact cross functionally with other departments to drive accounts to close. We will empower you with the fundamental building science knowledge you’ll require and we will look to you to consistently solve for the range of potential financial and project configurations that exist for any given customer. Passion for delighting customers, saving energy, closing deals and a solution oriented approach is essential for your success.
You are seen as a subject matter expert and instill confidence in customers who are considering making major changes to their homes. You are a trusted advisor with a consultative approach. You treat each and every customer as if they were your own family. We are mission driven and working to decarbonize homes but we also want to ensure we are operating in our customer’s best interests.
- 4+ years of sales experience
- Demonstrated sales track record and interest in growing a sales career
- Bachelor’s degree
- Prior experience as a quota-carrying Account Executive (or equivalent)
- Top performing SDR on a competitive sales floor
- Hands on experience with Salesforce.com, scheduling software or cadencing tools (ie Outreach)
- Knowledge of the home improvement space via family or work
- Knowledge of consumer facing financial products

The base salary for this role is $70,000. The variable component is designed to allow successful AEs to exceed $115,000 in total earnings.
