In this role, you will play a vital role in supervising our care delivery team and processes. You will oversee the daily clinical operations of a new digital health program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop, document, and implement clinical policies and procedures that align with organizational goals. Maintain, evaluate, and grow clinical operating procedures with diligent attention to detail and to support program scaling.
- Operational Agility: Adapt and articulate business requirements for technology and data teams to support direct care delivery and new care program launches. Prepare and educate clinical teams as new programs and care delivery modes evolve over time.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate clinical programs to ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Continuously benchmark performance and operations against performance metrics and goals. Develop and oversee processes for quality assurance audits against care delivery tasks and documentation practices.
- Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and mentor clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, and addressing escalations when needed. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance culture and working relationships among clinical staff.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to healthcare laws, accreditation standards, and best practices.
- Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage the clinical budget, optimizing resources to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze clinical data, patient feedback, and operational metrics to drive improvements in service quality. Aggregate feedback and advance recommendations to inform leadership and support business decision making.
- Patient Advocacy: Promote patient-centered, responsive care, ensuring services meet the needs of diverse populations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., RN, PA-C, Nurse Practitioner)
- 3+ years of clinical leadership experience in medical clinic setting
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and data analysis skills
- Interested in working in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment
