The Role:
Reporting to our Senior Vice President, Revenue Operations, the Programmatic Senior Manager is responsible for taking a hands-on approach to owning programmatic sales and account management of deals. This role is crucial to the growth of our programmatic revenue. You will work closely with Ad Operations and Sales to ensure the activation and success of programmatic deals.
The Programmatic Senior Manager role will be responsible for developing a strategy to help increase sales and deal flow. This position ties directly to Group Black’s overall revenue goals.
Your Day-To-Day:
- Serve as a programmatic advertising subject matter expert, guiding best practices, industry trends, and new technologies to clients.
- Develop and execute programmatic business strategies, including creating a pipeline that tracks annual and quarterly revenue goals.
- Collaborate with Sales teams on our go-to-market approach, including leading programmatic sales meetings and managing client relationship management.
- Track the business line KPIs associated with our sales volume, velocity, and value, and communicate market feedback to help develop new programmatic products and update our positioning.
- Deliver regular reports summarizing campaign performance and key insights to clients, derived from analyzing campaign data to offer insights and recommendations for improving client campaign performance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs, objectives, and challenges, working closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Ad Operations, Finance) to provide exceptional client service.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and programmatic platform updates.
What you bring to the team:
- 3-4 years of Programmatic Sales and/or Account Management
- Experience selling in agencies and brands
- Experience in a growing startup environment preferred
- Ability to work independently and deliver measurable results in a timely manner
- Experience solving problems in a collaborative environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and skills
- Commitment to the mission, vision, and objectives of the organization
At Group Black we believe in leveraging our hiring process as a way to support transparency. The annual base salary band for this opportunity is ($130,000.00 - $140,000.00). Our job offer compensation philosophy, which impacts actual compensation, is based on a number of important factors including, but not limited to, internal and market equity, financial budgets, and the individual’s skills, qualifications, experience, and education. Published annual base salary bands do not include individual variable compensation opportunities, such as annual merit increases, bonus eligibility, commission, or equity incentives.
