Swimwear Technical Design Paid Internship

DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Technical Design student (must be a Senior) or recent graduate for a paid internship to assist our Technical Designer. We are also open to a Freelance Technical Designer with 1-2 years of experience.

This role will be approximately 2 days per week in person in our Dumbo, Brooklyn office. The duration of the role is expected to last for 3 months. We are looking for someone to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and measuring swimwear and coverup samples
• Completing fit comments in our PLM system
• Attending and taking fit notes in fittings
• Preparing samples for fittings
• Supporting technical design during the product development process
  

Requirements

• Must be a Senior in college pursuing an apparel design/technical design degree OR a recent graduate
• Must be able to measure garments accurately
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of Andie brand and aesthetic
• Must have previous internship experience

Rate: $20-30/h depending on experience
